Thanks to your donations, we were able to fund multiple realistic wound models for our Tissue Viability Team. This team works across the UHCW NHS Trust to deliver education and training on how to care for different types of wound.
Paula Fogg from the Tissue Viability Team said: ‘The wound models have revolutionised the way we teach. For years we have used homemade models, now with these hyper realistic models, we are able to simulate realistic scenarios for our staff to have hands on practice with different wounds’
