Daniel O’Brien

Fundraising Manager

Daniel joined UHCW Charity in January 2025. He looks after the fundraising team, working with supporters and local businesses to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

Outside of work, Daniel is a cellist and pianist and plays at lots of weddings in his spare time.

Dave Lloyd

Grants Officer

Dave helps staff apply for, and receive grants from our Charity Funds.

As an ex-engineer, he loves his job as it allows him to update lots of spreadsheets whilst working with the best bunch of people imaginable.

Outside of work Dave loves bike riding and having tea & cake, but not all at the same time!

Alan Collins

Community and Events Fundraiser

Alan joined UHCW Charity in June 2025, bringing with him a passion for fundraising that started back in 2011 with Round Table. In 2018 he founded Skinflint Rally, which has since raised over £260,000 for charities nationwide.

Living in Coventry with his wife Leigh, four children, and two beagles, Alan is never short of things to do! He’s also on the committee at Henley Netball Club and can often be found cheering from the sidelines of a netball court or rugby pitch.

Amy Lucas

Charity Administrator

Amy is the first smiling face you’ll see when you come to our Charity Hub, and has the important job of processing all of the wonderful donations we receive.

Amy raised funds for our Neonatal Unit in response to the amazing care given to her son, and working for the Charity allows her to continue to give her thanks on a daily basis.

Outside of work Amy loves spending time with family and friends as there is nothing in the world that is more important!
