Christmas is a very busy time for us here at UHCW Charity, and if you are kind enough to bring donations to the Hospital for our staff or patients over the Christmas period, we want to make sure we are available to help you and also have enough time to thank you properly. Delivery slots can be booked between 9th – 19th December between 9am – 4pm. Please note this does NOT include the weekend, 14th & 15th December Please deliver your gifts directly to the Charity Hub located in the main reception area. If you have a large delivery which requires the use of roller cages, please let us know a minimum of 24 hours before. You are welcome to take photographs during your delivery. We ask that you take care not to include members of the public. When sharing photographs on social media, please tag in UHCW Charity so that we can share your generosity. The Starley Sportive is a cycling event that recognises the huge contributions of Coventry based inventors John Kemp Starley and James Starley to the cycle industry. What better way to celebrate their achievements than getting as many people as possible out on their bikes! The difference with the Starley Sportive is that 100% of profit from the event goes to charity, one of which is UHCW Charity. The Starley Sportive Cycling event offers three open road routes for different abilities - a short, family friendly ride of 28.6 miles, a longer route of 63.1 miles, or for really keen cyclists, the epic 86.5 mile route, so there really is something for everyone! The only way to enter the event is to register in advance.
