Cancer Services

Coventry & Rugby

“I have had a great experience and treatment throughout my cancer care and was committed to giving something back to all those who have helped me and continue to help me as well as to future patients”
Tracie, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and has been receiving treatment at the Arden Cancer Centre, Breast Clinic 2 and also Ward 35 (cancer services) at University Hospital

Rugbeian Tracie Mills and her Arden’s Angels have fundraised a staggering £50,000 for cancer services both at University Hospital Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby.

More than £20,000 of this total is now being used for specialist chemotherapy chairs at University Hospital Coventry.

The Angels are now raising funds to help cancer patients who will be treated in the new chemotherapy suite at Rugby. UHCW Charity has committed £100,000 to the new cancer centre which will mean Rugby patients can get all cancer treatment (except inpatient stays and radiotherapy) close to home.
