At School, College And University

Whether it's at nursery, school, college or university, fundraising for University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Charity is a great way to engage with your community and make a real difference to the lives of others.

You could choose to adopt a ward or service for a whole year or hold a one-off event - either way, we want you to enjoy your fundraising so we'll do all we can to help. We will support you by offering advice and providing a range of fundraising materials. We can even arrange visits to the hospital for small groups (very popular with school councils!) or come to your school to give a talk to a year group or school assembly.

Here are a few ideas of what you can do:

Bake It Better

Get together with friends and serve tea and cakes to teachers and students during a break, lunch time or after school.  Why not see if the tea party can be included as part of your Food Technology lesson or see how creative your school friends are by holding a competition to decorate a Gingerbread Nurse.

Be a super hero for your local hospital

Pay £1 to dress as a super hero for the day - if being a hero is not your thing you could just dress down for the day.

Celebrate In Memory

You may wish to celebrate the life of a teacher or student by having a collection to plant bulbs in our hospital ground. Find out more

Rag Raid

With your fellow students, take to the streets at one of our collections. Get into the spirit by dressing up in whacky costumes and encouraging college bands and entertainers to get involved

Sponsor a teacher

What teacher would you and your friends like to see hurtling from 10,000 feet? Challenge them to do a skydive and sponsor their efforts - or choose another event. Find out more.

Your own event

You may already have an event - its very easy to introduce a fundraising activity to your fun. Why not have a sponsored race in your sports day, a collection at your carol concert or an auction at your Prom? Find out more.
