General Purposes Funds

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Charity has a small number of General Funds. These funds have a broad term that enables them to be used across a hospital, service or NHS organisation.

Every four months we invite applications for up to £10,000 that will fund an innovative idea that will have a positive impact upon patients in University Hospital.  Find out more.

You can apply at any time so you can make a difference. Your first step is to speak to the Fund Adviser as applications must be submitted by them and endorsed by the NHS Trust authorising officer. A grant request of £20,000 or more must also be endorsed by the Chief Executive Officer of the NHS organisation.

Fund Advisers  for General Funds are senior staff who, as volunteers for the Charity, act as a link between the NHS team working on the ward or service and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Charity.

Reporting on the progress of your project is crucial. As well as allowing us to see the positive changes you’ve made, it helps us in communicating the impact of the projects we fund – vital in enabling our supporters to see the difference we make to patients’ lives.
