Lear employees started their 9 mile trek bright and early with leader Adam keeping Penguino company dressed as a penguin!
The day was already hotter than expected and the refreshing breeze on the first peak was much appreciated.
The group continued on to complete British Camp, which stands at 1,109 feet, and as they descended to the bottom an ice cream van with perfect timing came around the corner!
Quick ice creams break before carrying on to Worcestershire Beacon, the highest summit of the Malvern Hills.
“I’m so pleased we’ve all managed to complete the walk whilst having fun and raising as much money as possible for UHCW Charity, to hopefully make life easier for patients and staff. We all know someone that has needed the hospital’s help so we need to do all we can to support them.” – Adam Rubidge, Lear Project Engineer (CTO)
Thank you to the amazing team for taking on the challenge. Special shout out to Adam who didn’t take the penguin suit off once and congratulations to Janka for carrying her baby!
